רוּפִילָא
רוּפִילָאm. (rufulus) a military tribune chosen by the general himself; (adopted in the Persian bureaucracy) a high official, royal adjutant or viceroy. Shebu.6b כגון מלכא ור׳וכ׳ as, for instance, the king is followed by the Rufila, and the Alḳafta by the Resh Galutha. B. Mets.49b; 107b פרזקר׳.Pl. רוֹפִילִין. Targ.
